Maya was born in Kyoto, Japan, and lives in Italy since 2015. After receiving a master’s degree in Wine Culture & Communication from the Gastronomic Sciences University of Pollenzo she gained significant experience in the wine business working at leading wineries in Piemonte and Trentino. She completed WSET level 3 in 2018, and AIS sommelier course level 2 in 2020. When not pouring a glass of wine, you will find her running after her two little kids.
