The hillside vineyards are ideal for the production of fresh, fruit-driven Prosecco, today the world’s most popular bubbly.

On the palate, it is silky and full, presenting a very pleasant balance between the fruity and floral notes.

Pairings

Excellent as an aperitif. Ideal with finger foods and Mediterranean first courses.

What is Prosecco?

Prosecco is original from the East region of Italy, between the Dolomites and the Adriatic sea.

DOC stands for “Designation of Controlled Origin”, and it means that Prosecco DOC is required to be made a certain way as well as the amount of grapes a winery is allowed to grow per surface area in a vineyard.

The base wine cuvèe is made from a blend between Glera and Pinot Nero grapes.

Real Prosecco can only be sold in glass bottles, and never in tap or cans.

To guarantee the quality and authenticity, on the neck of the bottle there is the government DOC seal.

Perfect to pair with Italian dishes but it easily adapts to also international cuisines.

FAQ

Prosecco is the grape or the wine?

Prosecco is a wine, while the grape is called Glera. Glera is the official grape to make Prosecco. Do not trust Prosecco made with other grapes.

How to store it after opening?

Close it with a stopper for sparkling wines, then refrigerate it: the cool temperature will slow significantly the loss of bubbles.

What is the difference with Champagne?

Prosecco and Champagne are entirely different wines: the grapes are different, the climate and soil are different, the winemaking technique is different, and the aromas, flavors, and textures are different. Where Champagne is refined, Prosecco is soulful. Where Champagne is expensive, Prosecco is a wine for everyone. Where Champagne is reserved for special occasions, Prosecco is both a special occasion and everyday wine to enjoy at the dinner table.
