La Gioiosa Prosecco is a DOCG wine, meaning that it is harvested, made, and bottled in the official Prosecco area, within the provinces of Treviso and Trieste, Italy.

What is Prosecco?

Prosecco is original from the East region of Italy, between the Dolomites and the Adriatic sea.

DOCG stands for “Designation of Controlled Origin and Guaranteed”, and it means that Prosecco DOCG can only be produced in a defined area.

Glera is the native grape of Prosecco. Its low sugar content, marked acidity and delicate notes are ideal to produce this sparkling wine.

Real Prosecco can only be sold in glass bottles, and never in tap or cans.

To guarantee the quality and authenticity, on the neck of the bottle there is the government DOCG seal.

Perfect to pair with Italian dishes but it easily adapts to also international cuisines.

How to store it after opening?
