La Gioiosa Prosecco Treviso is a DOC wine, meaning that it is harvested, made, and bottled in the official Prosecco area, within the provinces of Treviso and Trieste, Italy.

THE LAND

La Gioiosa Prosecco Treviso DOC comes from the heart of the Prosecco region and is Vegan certified by European "The Vegan Society".

Flavor

The aroma is fruity and flowery with hints of ripe golden apple and small mountain flowers.

Pairings

An excellent aperitif to accompany savories. Ideal with steamed shellfish.

What is Prosecco?

Prosecco is original from the East region of Italy, between the Dolomites and the Adriatic sea.

DOC stands for “Designation of Controlled Origin”, and it means that Prosecco DOC can only be produced in a defined area.

Glera is the native grape of Prosecco. Its low sugar content, marked acidity and delicate notes are ideal to produce this sparkling wine.

Real Prosecco can only be sold in glass bottles, and never in tap or cans.

To guarantee the quality and authenticity, on the neck of the bottle there is the government DOC seal.

Perfect to pair with Italian dishes but it easily adapts to also international cuisines.

Prosecco is a wine, while the grape is called Glera. Glera is the official grape to make Prosecco. Do not trust Prosecco made with other grapes.

How to store it after opening?

Close it with a stopper for sparkling wines, then refrigerate it: the cool temperature will slow significantly the loss of bubbles.
